The Colosseum, symbol of Rome, is visible from the windows of some of our Maison's rooms. Nearby, the Roman Forum tells the story of the political, religious, and commercial life of the ancient city. Among the ruins, one can admire basilicas, temples, and triumphal arches. Along Via dei Fori Imperiali, the grand complexes of the emperors, such as the Forum of Trajan with its famous Column, celebrate their power. The Arch of Constantine, with its reliefs, marks the triumph of the last great emperor. Finally, the Domus Aurea, a short distance away, offers a unique immersive experience: the residence of Nero comes to life through virtual reality, revealing imperial Rome.

Treasures of a thousand-year faith in the heart of the city

In front of Profumo Maison Colosseo, the Basilica of San Clemente offers a journey through time across its three levels. The upper basilica, dating back to the 12th century, boasts Renaissance mosaics and frescoes.
Descending, you will find a 4th-century early Christian church with frescoes of saints and miracles. Further down, the foundations of 1st-century Roman buildings, including a Mithraeum.
Nearby, the Basilica of the Four Crowned Saints with its medieval cloister and frescoes in the Chapel of Saint Sylvester.
Continuing, the monumental Basilica of Saint John Lateran, Rome's cathedral and papal residence until the 14th century, with mosaics, a Cosmatesque cloister, and the Holy Stairs.
Finally, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, rich in mosaics, gilded ceilings, and Baroque chapels, houses a venerated relic.

Public Transport

Profumo Maison Colosseo boasts a strategic location, with the Colosseo metro station on Line B just a few steps away, directly connecting to Termini Station, Eur, and San Lorenzo.

In the coming years, the station will be integrated with Line C, improving access to the historic center.
A short distance away, the Manzoni station on Line A offers connections to Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, and St. Peter’s.
Tram 3 crosses the heart of Rome, and numerous bus and tram lines provide quick access to Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, the Vatican, and also reach less touristy neighborhoods.
